Mr. Winstead is a Senior Systems Architect in Leidos’s Energy Solutions Operation. He has spent more than 32 years assisting utilities with developing strategies and tactics for real-time process controls and data acquisition systems by employing his skills in: Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Program Management, Requirements Definition, Systems Testing and Commissioning. Mr. Winstead has experience at virtually all phases of the technology solution delivery cycle, including business case development, business and technology use case requirements, cost/benefit and gap/feasibility analysis, executive briefings, and project management from conception to fully functional deployment.
Mr. Winstead’s areas of expertise include decision support solutions, business and data process automation, enterprise data management, and systems integration for creating the Smart Grid including: Demand Side Management (DSM), Intelligent Load Management Solutions (ILMS), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Advanced Distribution and Transmission Operations (ADO/ATO), Demand Response (DR), Direct Load Control (DLC), Home Area Networks (HAN), Meter Data Management (MDM), and business intelligence implementations for the utility industry.
