Robert Welch

Mr. Welch is Vice President for Operational Technologies and Analytics for Black & Veatch’s Management Consulting Group. He is a member of the firm’s Extended Leadership Team, and his organizations serves electric, gas and water utilities in the development and deployment of Smart process and technology programs in distribution and power generation.  Black & Veatch assists clients globally in the opportunity evaluation, assessment and execution of business and technology roadmaps to meet financial and regulatory goals that increase the efficiency and performance of these critical assets. His team focuses on attainment of the full benefits of these roadmaps, including the transition to effective planning and operations through the acquisition and use of critical data. Previously, he led CSC’s global Energy & Utilities industry group, and was a partner in Ernst & Young’s Energy and Utilities practice.
