Mr. Threlkeld graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering. He currently manages GM’s Global Renewable Energy Strategies and Portfolio of projects and has done so for 8 or his 13 years’ experience at GM. To date, Mr. Threlkeld as implemented or negotiated long term power purchase agreements for over 40MW of renewable energy projects at GM facilities. Mr. Threlkeld is actively engaged in the Solar Energy Industry Association, pioneering GM to join this NGO in the support how large end users can support the deployment of solar. Mr. Threlkeld is also actively engaged with other non-profits in the pursuit if driving sustainable living practices both at home and work, taking his vast knowledge on the renewable front beyond just the manufacturing world. Prior positions held include managing the Powerhouse and Wastewater Treatment Plant operations at GM’s Lordstown Assembly Complex. Mr. Threlkeld is a member of several professional organizations and holds the following certifications: CEM, BEP, CSDP, and CHMM.
