At the corporate venture capital arm of Royal Dutch Shell, Becky’s role includes identifying, vetting, selecting, and mentoring startups selected for investment by STV. Previously, Becky was Entrepreneur-In-Residence in two bureaus at the U.S. State Department, where she advised on governmental startup and university commercialization engagement. She is a 29-year veteran of the software and semiconductor industries, including working as Director of Software Platforms at AMD, and started her public service roles following the sale of her firm Taylor-Deininger Partners, Inc. (TDP) in June 2010. Becky is a Senior Member of IEEE and holds multiple patents. She has a BS in Computer Science from Iowa State University, and a Master of Public Affairs from the the UT LBJ School of Public Policy.
