As Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning, Raiford Smith oversees corporate strategy, integrated resource planning, load forecasting, new products and services, and research and development, driving the transformation of CPS Energy into a strong, innovative 21st Century energy provider.
Mr. Smith joined CPS Energy in 2014 after serving 22 years in various roles with Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC. and Houston and with Southern Company in Atlanta and Savannah. He is a member of the State Bar of North Carolina.
